Striking Purple-Bronze ColoringThe Twilight Evening Primrose PP17230, ' Oenothera speciosa 'TURNER01', produces a striking rich purple-bronze coloring in the center of the leaf, particularly on young foliage, making a strong contrast with the large pale pink flowers which appear throughout the summer. This is a versatile plant for the border of containers. The fragrant flowers are open fan shaped cups, a pale lilac pink shade and with a yellowy green center. The petals have a slightly crumpled, crinkly look. The flowers appear in early evening and there is little that can compare with it for early evening blooming.
