Tank's Green Stuff - Organic Compost is a naturally made soil amendment, containing no fertilizers or chemical products. It has been tested for pathogens, heavy metals, and pesticide residues to make sure our compost is the best and highest quality available. In addition we test for vital mineral and nutrient content such as: Nitrogen, Sulfur, Salts, Phosphorus, Potassium, to ensure that plants raised using our compost will be the healthiest they can be. Our compost is made using only locally derived landscape waste, organic manure, and Bactifeed beneficial efficient microbes. Bactifeed is a microbial blend of beneficial micro and macro- organisms that accelerate the decomposition process and enhances soil vitality. By amending soil using a Tank's Green Stuff Compost and Bactifeed blend the soil becomes healthier and nutrient rich. Healthy soil aids a plants ability to resist infection and decreases unwanted weed growth. Healthy balanced soil also increases the soils ability to retain moisture. Blend 3 to 6 cubic yards per 1000 square feet (1 – 2thick). Till into top 6 of existing soil. Trees and Shrubs: Blend 1 part Tank's Green Stuff Compost to 3 part native or local soil. Fill around root ball to 1-2 above root ball. Lightly compact.
