Perfect for Containers!Sunshine Blue Blueberry, Vaccinium corymbosum 'Sunshine Blue', is a dwarf blueberry plant that is by far one of the easiest most trouble free, and the perfect blueberry to grow in a patio container! In spring it produces bell-shaped, pink flowers that fade to white, and mature into delicious blue berries from late July through August.Sunshine Blue is an ornamental evergreen and produces an abundance of dime-sized, delicious berries. Sunshine Blue is self pollinating, but you get the best yields when planted with another variety. Provide an acidic, well-drained soil and water regularly during the growing season to maintain a deep, extensive root system.Before new growth begins, prune off twiggy growth, leaving only main stems to prevent overbearing; feed with an acidic fertilizer.
