SmartBee Handheld Water Content Meter
The SmartBee Handheld Water Content Meter (WCM) is an independently operated device to spot check the water content of various mediums to develop the most effective irrigation strategy. This assists the hydroponics grower to control their dry-down. The handheld WCM is not wireless, it delivers immediate data to the grower. The SmartBee Handheld Water Content Meter has a versatile readout and delivers 1% resolution and 2% accuracy. The SmartBee Handheld Water Content Meter measures substrate temperature from 35 degrees F to 120 degrees F. The SmartBee Water Content Meter probe easily inserts into a wide variety of mediums, enabling growers to make rapid checks for optimized uniformity of growing conditions. Each reading takes less than 4 seconds. The SmartBee WCM is just 6.5 x 3.25 x 1.25 and weighs only 10 ounces with the probe. Its Li-Ion battery delivers a month of power and a USB charging port for extended use.
