The Powerbox FLIPBOX LSM-8 is 4 ballast, 8 light FLIPBOX that allows you to run 8 lights from 4 ballasts. Convenient single unit with built-in timer allows for complete automation of switching between 8 lights from 4 ballasts. Voltage independent - works with 120 Volt and 240 Volt ballasts. Fits Sunlight Supply style ballasts. Industrial-grade Siemens relays with a dedicated 40A 2-pole relay per ballast. Voltage independent - works with any voltage ballast. Built-in digital timer to control switching cycles. Battery backup to hold timer programs during power outage. Optional 120V trigger cord to can override timer. Works with magnetic and digital ballasts. Heavy-duty cords and receptacles with 14 AWG wire. Sunlight-Supply style plugs & receptacles. Durable powder coated steel enclosure. The Powerbox LSM-8 Flipbox has a detachable trigger cord can override the built-in timer, so Powerbox can be controlled by your own timer, or other devices. Hand-built at their California factory, 5 year warranty. Powerbox Flipbox Compatibility Powerbox Flipboxes work with virtually any H.I.D. ballast, be it magnetic or digital/electronic. Some ballasts, however, may require additional steps to function properly. If you are using Lumatek, Nextgen, or Phantom digital ballasts, or if your ballasts are having trouble switching, you must observe the following instructions in BOLD lettering. Some digital/electronic ballasts contain an 'error sensing' circuit that is meant to detect if there is a bulb failure. In the event of a bulb failure, the ballast will shut itself down and not restart until the user unplugs the ballast to reset it.
