Pink Bells on Semi EvergreenThe Abelia 'Edward Goucher Pink', Abelia X 'Edward Goucher', is a semi-evergreen shrub with a compact growth habit 3 to 5 feet tall. Graceful arching branches support clear pink bell shaped flowers with orange throats in summer, blooming May to June until frost. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. 'Edward Goucher Pink' looks best when pruned selectively, although it is tolerant of hard shearing. Can be cut to the ground to encourage new long arching branches.
