The Phantom PHB2040 Digital Ballast was made from the popular Phantom 2 ballast line. It comes with the reliability and engineering of the Phantom 2 models and adds 250W/400W switching capability and includes three way output control, making it extremely versatile. The output wattage is selected using a recessed switch on the rear panel. Like the Phantom 2 ballast, the PHB2040 is completely silent, energy efficient, reliable and also lightweight. Its industry-leading Smart Alert Technology uses a 32 MHz fully integrated microprocessor to keep your set up running smoothly. The Phantom PHB2040 has a built in hot re-strike programming to protect the amp and ballast in the event of a power loss. The ballast not try to restart a hot lamp for at least 15 minutes.
