Mukdenia Karasuba (red-leafed), Mukdenia rossii 'Karasuba', will set your fall garden on fire!In early season, fanned, maple-like leaves emerge bright green, and then in late summer the red hot foliage of ‘Karasuba’ are set ablaze with color!Mukdenia forms a low growing, spreading mound that has small star shaped white flowers in early summer. If you are looking for a change in your shady landscape, this plant can be used in place of hostas!Plant in containers, use as a ground cover, in borders, or for a brilliant display in late summer, plant in masses.Mukdenia prefers cool, moist but not wet soil which has been amended with plenty of organic matter.
