Sun Loving Sedum with Lively Fall ColorSedum Mr. Goodbud, adds a burst of lively color to your fall landscape. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit 2006 from Terra Nova Nurseries, 'Mr. Goodbud' PP17671 has 5-6 large clusters of purple-pink flowers that form on the purple-red stems.The compact, serrated foliage is a deep blue-green and the stems are very strong and able to resist flopping.Sedum ‘Mr. Goodbud’ needs to be planted in full sun in well-drained soil. It will tolerate most soil types and is drought resistant. Combine this sedum plant with asters or coneflowers for a wonderful autumn display. It may be divided every 2 or 3 years in early spring.‘Mr. Goodbud’ is a great choice for beds and borders and excellent as cut flowers. It attracts butterflies and bees. For a clean looking appearance, remove the old foliage before new growth begins in the spring.This plant is cold hardy, deer resistant, heat and drought tolerant, AND so beautiful in the fall!
