Compact Perennial Makes a Great Border Plant!Ceanothus (New Jersey Tea or California Lilac) Marie Bleu, Ceanothus x pallidus 'Grace', is truly garden worthy and a wonderful addition to mixed borders! Marie Bleu is an outstanding compact plant that is covered with loads of misty blue flower heads in late spring. Red seed head capsules appear after flowering is finished, adding another season of garden interest. Shear lightly after blooming to promote a stronger re-bloom in the summer; trim to shape after flowering.
