The Ideal-Air DriFecta Condenser Fan Motor for Low Ambient Temperature allows your DriFecta HVAC unit to operate in cooling mode when the outdoor temperature is less than 65 Fahrenheit, which can cause the indoor coil to freeze up. The Condenser Fan Motor is located in the outside unit, and its function is to move air across the condenser coil to cool the refigerant. By cooling the refrigerant, it changes from a hot gas into a liquid. Important Note: Requires Ideal-Air Electronic Low Ambient Temperature Controller Kit to function properly.
