Tropical Appeal in a Versatile EvergreenJapanese Aralia, also known as Paper Plant or Fatsia Japonica, is a broadleaf, evergreen shrub with ornamental features. Plant several for a lush hedge, or plant just one as a accent in your side yard. These even do well as houseplants or as container plants your patio or front porch. Deeply lobed, dark green foliage is the mainstay of this impressive plant. Each leaf grows up to 16 inches wide! The large leaves are leathery with a high gloss and a lush tropical appeal that is sure to draw the eye of every passerby. The glossy sheen is particularly adept at picking up the light, so you’re sure to enjoy it’s affect in the afternoon sun or moonlight. Your Japanese Aralia's lovely countenance is further enhanced in autumn when flowers appear, each tiny ball of creamy blossoms held aloft on a thin stem.
