Birds Love This HedgeHedge Cotoneaster, 'Cotoneaster lucidus', is an upright shrub that withstands pruning well. It makes an excellent hedge because of its height and clean, glossy foliage. It will mature to 8'-10' high with a spread of 4'-5'. It can be pruned to any size and shape.The dark green foliage turns yellow to red in the fall. The small pink flowers in spring attract butterflies. The flowers are followed by red berry which matures to a blue black in late summer.
