The Coreopsis Sunray, 'Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sunray', is an extravagant bloomer and splendid for cheery cut flower arrangements, beds, borders, and containers. It produces double golden-yellow ray florets carried singly on long stems. Sunray grows to 20 inches high and 2-3 feet across. Sunray Coreopsis begins to bloom in late spring and continues to bloom throughout the summer. This plant is not picky about its soil, as long as it’s well-drained. Keep deadheaded for best flowering. As with many perennials this plant will benefit from being divided and reset in the fall every one to two years. Shear back plants after the first wave of flowering to promote reblooming. Remove old foliage after frost or before new growth in spring.
