Abamectin Miticide is a generic equivelent for Avid Miticide. Abamectin insecticide/miticide for the control of mites and leafminers on greenhouse, shade house, indoor grow rooms, and field-grown ornamentals and on foliage plants, Christmas trees and other woody ornamentals. Abamection also suppresses whiteflies, thrips and aphids. Rates vary from 4-8oz per 100 gallons of water. Low 12 hour REI (restricted entry interval) period. The “hub” product of mite and leafminer control measures in ornamentals. Works through contact exposure. Excellent component of beneficial release programs.
