Use Monterey Take Down Spray to control a wide variety of garden pests from aphids and whitefly to caterpillars and scale. Monterey Take Down Spray is a useful pyrethrin based spray for the home gardener. This product is safe to use on fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season and up to the day of harvest. Take Down Spray contains canola oil and can be applied as a dormant spray. Take Down Spray also kills eggs, larval, and adult forms of pest insects and is most effective when used at the first sign of the pest population. The concentrated form allows the user to mix just what is needed for complete application to the desired area. Do not apply within 21 days of a sulfur application. Application Rate: Mix in either a 1% or 2% solution as follows: 1% Solution: Mix 2 teaspoons of concentrate with 1 quart of water or 1 fl. oz. of concentrate with 3 quarts of water. Shake or stir frequently during use. 2% Solution: Mix 4 teaspoons of concentrate with 1 quart of water or 2 fl. oz. with 3 quarts of water. Shake or stir frequently during use.
