Blue Glow Globe Thistle
The Blue Glow Globe Thistle, 'Echinops bannaticus 'Blue Glow', produces decorative, steel-blue flower heads that persist from July through September atop this erect perennial with grey-green foliage. The Blue Gobe thistle is easy to grow in well drained soil. This plant will tolerate a wide range of soils, including poor, dry soils. Use this plant in sunny borders, as an accent plant, or in the garden. The blooms are excellent for cut flowers or for dried flowers. This plant will attract butterflies and is rabbit and deer resistant.
